Ukraine Residents Dying of Mystery Illness

Elizabeth Prata has picked up on a story out of the Ukraine, where a mysterious illness is taking the lives of its residents.  Schools have been closed, public meetings banned and travel restricted as the illness, suspected to be pneumatic flu, spreads throughout the region.  Think swine flu is bad?  Click on over to Elizabeth’s post at the link below to read how bad pneumatic flu can be and, if this is truly what is killing people in the Ukraine, it could be worse than the bubonic plague.  The number of confirmed deaths in the nation nearly doubled from Saturday to Monday with 15,000 hospitalized harboring cases of flu and respiratory illness.

Jordanian Muslim Arrested in Dallas Terror Plot

A 19-year-old Muslim man has been arrested in Dallas after allegedly placing an inactive bomb at a 60-story skyscraper in Dallas called Fountain Place. FBI agents that posed as members of an al Qaeda sleeper cell said in an affidavit that the accused terrorist bomber, Hosam Maher Husein, “repeatedly voiced an intent to attack those whom he described to be Islamic enemies, including Christians and Jews“ and that he ”indicated a desire to attack buildings housing credit card companies in a ‘strike to the economy.’“

Mom Stabs Two Young Daughters at Home

In Matthew 24:12, Jesus told us that in the last days the love of many would wax cold because of their iniquities. This story is just another example that we are indeed seeing all of the signs prophesied by the Bible as signals that we are living in the last days before His return. A 38-year-old mother in Westminster, California, stabbed and slashed her two daughters, aged three and five. The two young children are hospitalized. The five-year-old victim is in a coma with multiple stab wounds to the chest. Her chances of survival are classified as “grave,” while the three-year-old is in stable condition with multiple slash wounds.

Iran Has Enough Uranium to Build Two Nuclear Bombs

According to Joel C. Rosenberg (link to full story below), the latest IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) report, Iran possesses about 1508 kg of low-grade uranium. To construct a nuclear bomb, only about 700 kg of low-grade uranium is needed to be processed in a centrifuge to make it weapons-grade. Therefore, Iran already possesses the capability to produce two nuclear bombs. The missing part here is whether or not the government has given the go-ahead for their construction. Maybe the U.N. will write a strongly-worded letter to Iran asking them to stop. And another strongly-worded letter if they don’t comply.
