Pakistan Christians Attacked by Muslims

A Pakistani Christian family was attacked outside their apartment by a group of Muslims after their 32-year-old son was falsely accused of blasphemy, according to Compass Direct News.  The accused, Shumail Aleem, was accused of profaning the grandson of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

Obama Critical of ‘Old Values’ About Homosexuality

President Obama and his family were recently spotted leaving St. John’s Episcopal Church, yet Obama recently delivered the keynote address to the Human Rights Campaign in which he criticized people who hold to “old attitudes” about homosexuality. Obama also praised the passage of the homosexual hate crimes bill in the House last Thursday and said he was preparing to sign the bill in to law once it passes Congress. As followers of Christ, we are to hate the sin and love the sinner, but I have to question Obama’s apparent “buffet-style” belief in God’s word. All scripture is given for inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, according to 2 Timothy 3:16. That’s all scripture, not bits and pieces that are suitable for anyone’s unbiblical beliefs.

Pakistani Christian Family Attacked by Islamists for Failing to Convert

The religion of peace strikes again. On September 28th, the home of a Christian family in Pakistan was attacked by Islamists for refusing to convert to Islam. The family had lived amongst their Muslim neighbors for years, but over the last few months had begun receiving threatening, anonymous phone calls and letters warning them to convert to Islam, leave their home, or die. Police were notified of the threats but were unable to stop the attack.

Ted Kennedy Left No Traditional Values Legacy

Kris Mineau of the Massachusetts Family Institute remarked earlier today after the passing of Edward M. (Ted) Kennedy that the Senator from Massachusetts left no traditional values in his legacy. From persuing the pro-abortion vote to pushing same-sex marriage to the homosexual agenda in schools, Kennedy’s views did not line up Biblically-speaking. I just hope Kennedy came to know Jesus before he left this planet.
