Obama Signs Hate Crimes Bill into Law

I knew this was coming.  After Congressional approval of the hate crimes bill, which was packaged together with the 2010 fiscal year Defense Authorization Bill, President Barack Obama signed it into law.  The law gives equal protection to homosexuals under the law — effectively putting them above the law by declaring them a special class of people — and makes it a crime to discriminate against them based on sexual identity and persuasion.  While the bill did include a provision to prevent prosecution of individuals based on beliefs, many Christians are concerned the bill will silence Biblically-based messages.
