U.S. Serviceman Shot for Drinking Water During Ramadan

A U.S. military soldier was shot in Kabul, the capital city of Afghanistan, after drinking water in front of Afghan police who were not eating or drinking because of the observance of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. The American was seriously wounded, according to the report, and other American military personnel responded and wounded the offending Afghan police officer.
