Blog Spotlight Friday 10/23/2009
Wanted to share some great articles from across the blogosphere with you all today so you can read some other Biblically-sound ideals today.
From Political Pistachio: Humans on Earth: 6,000 Years? Or Millions? The evidence may surprise you! (Hint: the Bible is a much more believable than the evolutionary thought.)
From Christians Against Leftist Heresy: Are Evangelical Churches Drifting Left? From what I’ve seen of some of the larger so-called evangelical leaders in the United States, I’d have to agree with this blog post.
From The End Time: The Rich Have Stolen the Economy. Economic disparity continues between the rich and the poor. The rich get richer and the newly unemployed joins together with the already unemployed, which is reaching nine million.
From The Future History: US Gov’t Agrees to Al Queda Terms. A headline of the future? Larry outlines a scenario that is eerily possible in America’s future.
Christian Sister in Desperate Need – Please Help the Tweeple Fund
I’m not one to beg for financial assistance, but I hope my readers will take a few minutes to drop by and read about the Tweeple Fund. There is a fellow Christian that is having to vacate her premises by tomorrow, September 15th, along with her three children and has no where else to go. Would you please consider visiting the link above, read the information provided by Bruce about this particular situation, pray about it, and give even a dollar or two? Many giving Christians have stepped up to help this sister and I hope God will lead you to give to this wonderful cause. I know there are some wonderful Christians out there who will help keep this sister-in-Christ, and her three children, off the streets.
Revelation 13 Bible Study Part 2
As a continuation to part one of the series by Larry Gott (@larry01gott on Twitter), he delves further into his Bible study on Revelation chapter 13, discussing the origins of the beast, who he is, and some of his characteristics. Larry also goes into what gives the beast his power and a quick glimpse into what the Bible says will happen once the beast takes the throne.

Why Does God Allow Suffering?
I’ve had the privilege of meeting another believer in Christ on Twitter and he has put together some great Biblically-based articles on his blog about the coming end of the age. Aside from his studies on the anti-Christ and the rapture of the church, Paul (@NewsUNeed2Know on Twitter) has put together a post that many around the world ask: why does God allow suffering? Take a few minutes and visit Paul’s blog (link below) and read up on this fascinating examination of scripture.

A Bible Study on Revelation 13, Part I
A friend of mine on Twitter, Larry Gott (@larry01gott on Twitter) has been putting together some very in-depth studies as of late, and his latest one is no exception. Have you ever wondered about the book of Revelation and, even more so, how to read it? What’s considered symbolism and what’s to be taken literally? Larry has posted an article on Revelation 13 and helps interpret it using scripture and common sense, and is what I consider to be right on the mark from my understanding of the Bible. Hope you’ll take a few minutes and jump on over to Larry’s blog at the link below.
